Okay, I know I know....it's been way tooo long.
Our life here has taken quite a turn of events. Last week my mother-in-law was put in the hospital with shortness of breath. To make a very long story short, she has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. She has suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis for many years. She was told that this could be the cause of the lymphoma. Monday starts her chemo treatments. Wow, I still can't wrap my brain around that. The treatments will be every 3 weeks for 24 weeks. She has been told that she will definitely lose her hair, but should not have the nausea that usually comes with it. Now, we won't know for certain, but the doctors are so very positive. This is VERY curable and she will start to feel better from her arthritis within days of her first treatment. We are truly resting in our Lord. She is so strong and very positive too. That makes it alot easier. Please pray for Brad and his brothers as well. This has hit hard and they need to band together. Thank you and I will try to be better about posting. :)

Random pics of New York
Here we are in the Registry Room at Ellis Island. This is where every immigrant waited for their name to be called to "check in" to the United States. This was the first of many steps. We did not take alot of pics here. We searched the Ellis Island Records to find Gram's mom and dad but was unsuccessful. It may have been a difference in spellings but to no avail.
This is for my sis! Notice the HUGE Dunkin cup :)!
Times Square at it's finest.
This is the "Elvis" blue M & M. There is a 4 story M & M store in Times Square. That was our only goal and we found it and bought way over-priced m & m's. We also went to a 3 story Walgreens. that was fun.
We salute you, Lady Liberty, we salute you as you stand! At the gateway of our nation, with a welcome in your hand....
Our ferry that took us to Liberty Island
There she stands!
Such a great picture!
The lovely couple. The day was perfect and we were just in awe of her!
New York, New York
Just entering downtown and headed to the ferry docks.
Waiting in Battery Park for the ferry to Liberty Island. We were actually watching a group of black men performing tumbling and gymnastics but didn't get a picture. We were a little star-stunned!
Here we are with the New York Skyline in the background. I believe we were on the ferry coming back to Battery Park.

Camping in The Cape
We are enjoying cloudy, rainy Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Touring all of the sights and staying dry in the camper. Tenting would not be fun this trip! Stay posted for more.

Always up for a little mini-putt
It was a gorgeous evening in Ludinton, MI. Rained only on Friday so we enjoyed a ton of outside fun.
Ludington State Park
We got 'er up and what a time we had. We will be taking our "BIG" trip out east to Cape Cod and Plymouth, Mass for 9 days next week. We had to take a quick weekend to make sure we knew what we were doing.
It is a 2-mile hike out to Big Sauble (saw-bull) lighthouse on Lake Michigan from the campground, just over the sand dunes. We walked and meandered our way to the lighthouse and back. We all made it but had a big nap when we got back.
Here we are!! We made it! Now to the top!
"The people looks so small, like ants!" says the skin-head, blonde of the group.
