Brad took it up to her and at that moment, she was cold from the chemo. She finished out a very onlg day wrapped in her big cozy hug blanket. She wanted it wrapped around her so she could be comforted with hugs from her grandchildren.

Gramma's Hug Blanket
Caden and I got up and went to JoAnn's to pick out fleece to make Gramma a Hug Blanket for her bed in the hospital. I am sorry to say that Caden is very adept in JoAnn's. We got all the way downstairs and I was talking to my sister on the phone and had to go back up the stairs to get it cut. :) Ohhhh my!

Looks who hasn't turned 40 yet but had the celebration...
The night started with a huge surprise.....a limo came to pick us up for our date and 8 of our closest friends popped out! I totally had no idea and what a delight!! We were driven to Outback for steaks, Caribou Coffee for coffee and cake and then just around to enjoy the limo. Lots of laughter and crude 40 year old jokes (just kidding) and then home to get kids for a quick ride around the block. Thank you, my love, for pulling it off and totally surprising me.
Happy 12th to Allison!!
Oh my how the time has flown!!
Blue Ice Cream cake from Dairy Queen. We celebrated down in the basement with Gramma.
Okay, I know I know....it's been way tooo long.
Our life here has taken quite a turn of events. Last week my mother-in-law was put in the hospital with shortness of breath. To make a very long story short, she has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. She has suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis for many years. She was told that this could be the cause of the lymphoma. Monday starts her chemo treatments. Wow, I still can't wrap my brain around that. The treatments will be every 3 weeks for 24 weeks. She has been told that she will definitely lose her hair, but should not have the nausea that usually comes with it. Now, we won't know for certain, but the doctors are so very positive. This is VERY curable and she will start to feel better from her arthritis within days of her first treatment. We are truly resting in our Lord. She is so strong and very positive too. That makes it alot easier. Please pray for Brad and his brothers as well. This has hit hard and they need to band together. Thank you and I will try to be better about posting. :)
