Okay, here is the event that pushed the blog craze for my sister to a whole new level.
Last Friday, we started our morning with the whole "We get to change our earrings today."
So the good mom that I am tried and tried and tried to remove the back from the studs. Okay, not so good. Bryn is the one I am working on. There is gunk stuck to the back of earring from hair and cotton getting wrapped around and around and around. YUCK!!
So finally I get the back off and it is bleeding a smidgen. Go to get the ear cleaner and do a little maintainance. Bryn sees it is bleeding and is getting worried....no tears yet but getting quieter and quieter. So I am putting in new super adorable little bare feet and get the earring in no prob and she leans against the dresser and TOTALLY PASSED OUT, FALL DOWN, LIMP PASSED OUT! I catch her and bring her gently to the floor as she is coming to, hoping she is not going to barf up buckets. Needless to say, the other stud is still in and the other still has said baby feet.
Still being the good Mom...
It is now Alli's turn. Mind you she is in the room when this is all going on. It is now 7:30a.m., I am not dressed or hair done or makeup on. HUMMMMM you say? We got one stud right out and new dragonfly earring in. Smooth!! Next earring and now she decides it "HURTS SO BAD, IT HURTS SO BAD!" Tears squirting every where. I say enough. Took out super cute dragonfly earring and put stud back in and made it to school by 8AM.
Whew!!!!
Big Football Roll and no tears!
Yes, there are a couple of girls on his team. He's okay with that. They are all 6 and 7 year olds. It is held at a Community Church in the area. Such a nice place and the people are great!! He is learning and then unlearning. Unlearning because he and Daddy have been practicing and teaching drills and such. They teach techniques different than Dad. Oh well, he will adjust eventually. What a riot it is to see him out there. Very intense and seems to know which way to go.
