The day started with the alarm clock going off at 3:30 AM on Sunday, March 11....Time change Sunday. Dad Stille agreed to drive us to the airport for our 6 AM flight to Atlanta and then on to Tampa, FL. We arrived in great time and found our Norwegian Cruise line rep at the end of the escalators by baggage claim.
We boarded the NCL transport bus to the Tampa Port Authority to board the ship. The Norwegian Star was our ship. After an easy embarkation process, we headed up the escalator where they took our picture to sell to us once we were on board.
Here is our first glimpse of the Norwegian Star!!!! We embarked on the 7th level.
It was really cool to see the ship for the first time. There was a rowdy welcoming party on board waiting as we got on. The employees were so very kind and helpful.
